Gadsden Horesmen’s Association to Host 8th Annual Big Bend Rodeo – Press Release

GADSDEN COUNTY TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL PARTNERS WITH GADSDEN HORSEMEN’S ASSOCIATION TO HOST 8TH ANNUAL BIG BEND RODEO 

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla- –The Gadsden County Tourist Development Council (TDC), in partnership with the Gadsden Horsemen’s Association, invites the community to celebrate western heritage at the 8th Annual Big Bend Rodeo, taking place Friday, August 22, and Saturday, August 23, at the Gadsden Horsemen’s Association Arena in Quincy.

Gates open at 6 p.m. nightly. Rodeo begins at 8 p.m.

“This rodeo highlights the spirit and tradition of our region,” said TDC Chairwoman Carolyn Ford. “It’s a family-friendly event that brings the community together while showcasing the talents of our local horsemen.”

The Big Bend Rodeo will feature traditional rodeo events, including:

  • Bareback riding
  • Saddle bronc riding
  • Bull riding
  • Calf roping
  • Steer wrestling
  • Team roping

 

Hosted annually by the Gadsden Horsemen Association, the rodeo reflects the club’s dedication to horsemanship, family fun, and community engagement. Throughout the year, the association hosts a variety of events, including Hunter, Western, Ranch, Speed, and Rodeo riding competitions.

Tickets are $15 per person. Children four and under are admitted free.
