Now in its 47th year, the Lake Talquin Open bass fishing tournament is one of the longest-running fishing classics in the Florida Panhandle, drawing competitive anglers from across the region for a full day of largemouth bass fishing on one of North Florida’s premier fishing lakes.
About the Tournament
The Quincy FL fishing tournament is open to all anglers 18 years and older, with participants under 18 welcome when accompanied by a registered parent or guardian. The tournament is limited to the first 150 teams, so early registration is strongly encouraged. Each team competes for top overall honors, with age group awards and prizes going to top male and female finishers.
Anglers will fish anywhere on Lake Talquin, including its creeks and rivers, targeting largemouth and smallmouth bass using artificial lures only. The aggregate limit is 5 fish, with all live bass released after the weigh-in.
