A Modern Myth Comes to Life

Based on Rick Riordan’s bestselling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, this action-packed musical follows Percy, a modern teenager who discovers he’s the son of a Greek god. Thrown into a world of monsters, myths, and mounting danger, Percy and his friends race to prevent a war among the gods while learning what it means to find where you belong. With a contemporary pop-rock score and fast-moving storytelling, The Lightning Thief is an exciting night of theatre for teens, families, and fans of the books. The production caps a four-week Teen Summer Intensive, in which student performers ages 15-19 trained, rehearsed, and staged the full musical from the ground up.
