LOCATION INFORMATION
Without a doubt one of the most memorable antique shopping destinations in all of North Florida, the Planters Exchange in Havana is a landmark of Gadsden County’s storied arts and antiques scene. This 14,000 square foot historic building was constructed in 1928 as a tobacco warehouse — a direct product of the shade tobacco industry that made Havana and Gadsden County world-famous for over a century.
Added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on September 17, 1999, the Planters Exchange houses one of the region’s most exciting antique markets. Approximately 30 dealers come together under one roof to offer some of the finest and most eclectic antique finds in the Southeast — from fine furniture and decorative arts to vintage collectibles, folk art, and one-of-a-kind treasures.
The building itself is part of the experience — the soaring warehouse ceilings, brick walls, and historic character of the 1928 structure create an atmosphere that is as memorable as the merchandise within. Every visit to the Planters Exchange is an adventure in discovery, and a testament to Havana’s enduring identity as North Florida’s Arts and Antiques Capital.
