Quincy Garden Center

LOCATION INFORMATION
LOCATION INFORMATION

Occupying one of Quincy’s most storied historic properties — the former Pat Munroe House — the Quincy Garden Center is a unique and enchanting destination in the heart of Gadsden County’s Historic District. Built in the glorious heart pine Victorian style, this beautiful property is celebrated for its sparkling stained glass windows, sculpted fireplace mantels, and plaster ceiling medallions, all set amidst grounds of flowering camellias, azaleas, and lush garden landscaping.

Mark “Pat” Munroe was one of Quincy’s most legendary figures — a visionary banker and one of the first investors in what would become Coca-Cola, a connection that helped make Quincy the wealthiest city per capita in the United States during the early 20th century. His home, now the Quincy Garden Center, stands as a tangible link to that remarkable era. The property is listed on the State of Florida’s Registry of Historic Structures.

Today the Quincy Garden Center serves as an idyllic event venue and garden destination, available for weddings, romantic ceremonies, and special occasions. Just 22 minutes from Tallahassee, the property combines Gadsden County’s extraordinary architectural heritage with exquisite natural beauty — a perfect setting for creating unforgettable memories.
