Nestled between Tallahassee and Quincy on the serene shores of historic Lake Talquin, Ingram’s Marina is one of Gadsden County’s most complete outdoor recreation destinations — a full-service marina, campground, RV park, and cabin rental facility that invites visitors to slow down and rediscover the unspoiled beauty of Old Florida.
Lake Talquin — whose very name is a contraction of “Tallahassee” and “Quincy” — was created in 1927 when the Jackson Bluff Dam harnessed the Ochlockonee River for hydroelectric power. The lake holds a nationwide record for the largest crappie ever caught and offers excellent opportunities for largemouth bass, striped bass, bream, and catfish across 40 miles of mostly undeveloped shoreline.
Ingram’s Marina offers campsites for RVs and tents with full hook-ups, fully furnished cabins with linens and cookware, a well-stocked camp store with live bait and tackle, a boat ramp, covered boat slips, a fishing pier, laundry, and ice. W.D. Lines Trails, Bear Creek Educational Forest, and Pat Thomas Park are all nearby, making Ingram’s a central hub for the Lake Talquin outdoor recreation corridor.
